View Full Version : Would you mind posting a pic of how you mounted your LS3 accelerator pedal?

Hi,

I just got the engine started. Super exciting. Now I need to mount the gas pedal and it looks super tight. It also looks like I might need to cut the bottom of the pedal off for clearance.
If you have a roadster with an LS, can you post some pics of what you all did?

Thanks!!!!!

Check out posts 27 and 96 of my build thread for details about how I tackled this.

Here are a few shots of the final install. I'm happy with how it turned out. It offers a lot of adjustability, and there's more clearance between the pedal and carpet than the pictures might suggest.

With a custom mount!

Custom mount and custom pedal arm (and pedal). Lol.

Check my build thread. My mount is similar to Terry's (OB6), but did the pad and arm slightly different. BTW, the manufacturer of your ECU will likely be very specific about what pedal works with their electronics. I'm assuming you are running DBW.
