Friends,

We got our engine in but unfortunately knocked the starter as it went in, cracking one of the posts on the solenoid. Need to replace it, and I'd much rather do that than replace the entire starter.

I'm looking online and having trouble finding the specific part.

It's a Gen 3 Coyote from a 2022 Mustang. The starter part # is GR3T-11000-AA. The solenoid has what I think says 05E20-02 on it, but I can't tell if that's a part number or what.

Fordparts.com website doesn't have anything and lots of other websites like Summit sell solenoids but the information on what's compatible with what is really limited.

Pics are attached of the starter plus solenoid itself.

Thanks!
Sascha

I would check with Rock Auto. Maybe look up the starter and see if you can back into the solenoid portion? Did a quick search and these might be likely candidates:

I did the same thing and was able to bond it back
On with a good epoxy.

Posting follow-up here, in case someone would benefit from this information in the future. Had to replace and it was a pain to find, but I found a company called Accumax that makes it, part number 10-ND275. They don't sell retail but a distributor called Zorko's is online and was able to order it and have it drop shipped to me, although it wasn't on their website. Works well on test run just installed on the starter, but our engine isn't fully installed yet so I haven't seen it fully in action yet.

Thanks again to everyone for the advice.

Sascha
