Has anyone put one of these shrouds in after the car is complete?
How far does it have to come apart to install?
I sure don't want to evacuate the AC system.
Any advice?

I have a MK5. I am building it and it is not yet in go-cart stage. I received the shroud, uninstalled my radiator/fan, installed the shroud and am waiting to reinstall until after the engine goes in. With that, I do not think you could install the shroud with the radiator/fan in place. That is to say, I think you would need to drain the system (I am not a subject matter expert, just my opinion)

I tried to install mine several times, and did some minor damage to my radiator fins, so I gave up. I don't see how it would work on a complete car. I'm going to ask Kleiner to install when he works his magic.

I've installed it with the body on in an MKIV. I had to trim about 1/2" off the radiator side and another 1/8" on the front side of it to fit properly.

Same as above. Installed it after my car (Mark IV) was completely finished for the look but my Coyote definitely runs cooler as a result. Had to trim a little here and there, put blue tape on the aluminum edges during the fitting process. Looks great and not a tough thing to do. Also, you kind of gently "fold" the curved shape "into itself" during the installation process. Aluminum provided by Mike has very good resiliency, bounces back.

I can't imagine the installation is even remotely similar on a Mk2, III, IV as it is on the 33 Hot Rod. On the 33, you're probably going to need to pull the radiator and grill assembly, yes, evac the a/c. Or, remove the shocks and see if you have room to slide it in that way.

And I just realized we've all missed that this is the 33 Hot Rod forum. Lol. I guess I didn't realize Everson made nose aluminum for anything other than the Roadster. Oops.
