I like the look of blacked out chrome. It seems the windshield might be the most stubborn based on my reading. Any good way to take it apart without damage? Thanks much. Body went on today for the first time. Whooooo hoooooo!

Comes apart pretty easy. Not sure I have any tips that would help. Did the same. Was easy to take apart, tougher to get back together.

I'd make sure to tell the powder coater to not get any coating inside the frame channel, as it will make it tough to go back together. You might also want to invest in the Whitby's SS windshield inserts. You may get lucky and not strip the brass ones but in the event that you do, it would suck to have to wait for the part. The pieces bend easily, so take your time.
