Does anyone besides me have trouble reading this forum? Are the sweet pastel colors for the younger generation, or what? Maybe it is just my older eyes, but this is not working for me.

Ralph.

I believe you can change colors and other things. Go to the My Profile at top right and click (if you are logged in). Then on the next page look for Customize My Profile on right side and click. Wha La.

I've gone to the control panel and changed all my colors to black. And, all I get is the hard to read pastels. Over to the old forum I go.

I also have not found a way to make the text of messages black. I need the added contrast for my eyes. As an example the ad for
Performance Automotive at the top of this page for me has black text in the "turnkey" statement. I want to make this text that black, but so far have not been able to get that done.

I think the font color is the same. I think its the background color which is different over here the back ground is a lighter blue.

I've looked at the settings and the font is a medium-dark gray. I hesitate to change them to a primary color because IMO it just doesn't look as good. I don't want to end up with a color pallet that doesn't work, but I'm willing to experiment a bit to create more contrast, as long as it doesn't upset the modern look of the site. I can, and will, darken them up though so there is more contrast. I'll be working on the site tonight and tomorrow so you all should see a bit of difference. Let me know what you think.

David, thanks for your consideration of our comments. We'll be on the lookout for some visibility. One comment on your statement about not wanting to upset "the modern look of the site". I can't speak for others, but I could care less about the "modern look" of the site as long as it fulfills it's mission. Not meaning to be critical, just conveying information.

Ralph.

David, post texts look better. Not sure if you went through everything yet. But, thanks for caring. Intial "index" screen listing posts is still a little light.

Thanks, Ralph.

David, looks like you darkened text above my post on the "index" screen.

Thanks, Ralph.

Yeah I set all the basic fonts to black and I'm going to change the title fonts to match the banner color. Hope you guys like the changes...
