I'm 95% sure they're building an FFR '35 Truck! Didn't notice it on previous episodes, but it was in multiple scenes this evening. Wonder if the boys @ Factory Five were in on this?

I liked his previous TV shows, but if it weren't for the cars, I wouldn't watch this series.

Yes. It was built by one of the best FFR builders then taken apart to it could be built on the set over time. It was in the background of previous episodes.

Mike, I might be wrong but I believe Dave S. told me he had 3 weeks to build it because of dead lines, which is totally insane!! While doing his beta as well.

I have watched the show a few times. I agree with Mp Tech. If it did not have the cars or the tools I would not watch it.

You are not wrong. BTW, all of the cars on screen belong to Tim.

Yep, it was front and center last night! Pretty cool to see. It is actually a full fendered pickup. Tim has some nice cars, that 409 Chevy was one of my favorites in his collection, I also really liked that Falcon that has been in several episodes. IT looks like aTorino but is actually Falcon with a 429 Cobra jet and 4 speed. MY first car was a 70 Torino with a 429 scj, so it hit my soft spot. You will see progression of the 35 pickup throughout the show. Enjoy!

I tend to agree but I'm giving the show a chance because, well, it's got Tim Allen and cars.

The scripting so far seems a bit wooden to me save for the episode with Nancy Travis.

Tim Allen's best work is when he runs up against no-bs women.

Can't watch it with "Kat"- whatever her name is. Only thing she brings to the show is T's, teeth, and an annoying voice.

That's true, but many guys like watching a good set of teeth. :p
I've never watched it but I'm interested to see what he has in his collection.

I really love that there is someone with a TV show that is a Real Car Guy........ I did watch a few episodes. But it is apparent that he still thinks making jokes about people on the left living off the government is funny.
I wonder if he fully paid back the government for food and housing for his time in federal prison? I seriously doubt it. As a former police officer I no longer find it funny.

I wish Jay Leno had a good show on TV.
