Installing the Sniper 2 components and soldering if I'm going to regret this location when the body gets put back on?
Where are people installing all this gear!? Takes up more space than I'd thought!

The coil should be close the the distributor, everything else behind the dash, or on the inside of the foot box. JMO

Thanks for the response!
What’s the thought for behind the dash? Heat? Ease of service?
It will be another firewall penetration for me so I’m weighing that out as well.

I brought all my EFI wiring around the end of the firewall near the windshield mount

While I don't have Sniper EFI, I do have Edelbrock ProFlo4. I put my EFI electronic bits on the cockpit side of the firewall. Check my build thread for pics, if it helps. I put it there to keep it away from heat, and to make the engine bay look a bit cleaner.

I have a Sniper and have driven it 1700 miles with zero issues. I have the cd box on the passenger footbox and the coil on the firewall. I have learned from others about rf interference and keeping the coil separated is key. Trying to post pictures is not working right now. I can try later.210756 210757

Thanks Bill! How’s access to the PDM when the body is on? Can you get to the wires if needed? Just curious.

I do not have the PDM just a cd box , but i can access everything I need to.

I had a Pro-M system in my Daytona mounted to the passenger footbox. It did not like the heat at all.

I've spent part of my winter hibernation trying to decide where to mount the PDM. The PDM has LED fault lights on it (for fuel pump, fan, and powertrain) which I'm thinking I want to be easily visible, so I'm leaning against mounting behind the dash. At this point it will either be on the passenger footbox as in your photo or on the firewall.

There are really no wrong answers for the most part. I put mine here and had no issues what so ever with access.

You can't see the lights in either of those spots either when you're in the car. Mine is mounted on the 2" tube behind the dash, mounted so I can just see the lights if I lean down some.

I went with the HyperSpark box on the PS Foot box (pretty common I think).

Then for the coil I got a bracket from The Speed Doctor on Facebook and mounted it above the alternator, this required a lower alternator mounting.

Not sure what the third box you have is. I've got a Sniper Stealth 4150 and HyperSpark Coil, distributor, and control box.

Just in the process of wiring up my Sniper 2 on the 347 Stroker Engine. I mounted the PDM and Hyperspark ignition box on the passenger footbox, making sure the PDM is near the engine side for easier access once the body is mounted. The Holley Coil is mounted above the mechanical throttle linkage on the firewall. Very similar setup to Bill E on this thread.
