I have a partially built Factory Five Type 65 Daytona Coupe that I am selling.
Here are the details…
Purchased from Factory Five in 2006 with the goal of making it track-ready without breaking the bank. It’s a base kit, and I’ve added the following upgrades:
* Rebuilt ‘94 Mustang 3.08 rear end
* New TKO 600 transmission purchased from Forte
* Rebuilt brakes from a ’93 Mustang
* Steel tilt column
* Rear-mounted vintage A/C
* $4K in extras from Factory Five
* Body and hood are fitted and aligned—just needs final fiberglass work before paint/wrap
* 351W SBF engine block
* Edelbrock carburetor intake
* Fuel cell tank installed
The windshield was damaged during storage and needs replacement. A 1986 Jag XJC is a direct fit.
The total value of the parts (with matching receipts) is around $22K. Since the space where the car is currently stored is for sale, I’m motivated to sell it quickly. I’m asking for $15K or best offer.
