I am in the process of drilling the hole for the tripod at the top, I don’t have the skill which some do, to do the inner sleeve so you don’t even see the bolt. What I am looking for is a bolt head with washer and nut that matches the curvature of the roll bar, I’m sure someone on here has done it and could recommend where to purchase these items. Thanks for the help. Oh, would you do the 5/16 bolt up there or just 1/4 bolt, I was thinking 5/16.

The hidden roll bar fastener doesn’t require any special skills or tools to install. It was one of the easiest things I did. 520 Speedworks sells a kit for it.

If you built the car, you can certainly install the hidden roll bar fastener kit from Speedworks.

Second 520speedworks. Personally met and have worked with the owner. Great guy. Give him your business.

+1 on the 520speedworks boltless system, but if you're so inclined, here's a thread on other options I found on this forum

Cheap and easy is to drill the outer tube and tap into the internal stub at the top for a 3/4" long 5/16" stainless button head.
