I'm kind of excited about the MKV. I like that FFR is always looking ahead for improvement and new markets. (Good business sense). I have a question about the MKV frame that I'm sure someone here knows. I see three oval shaped tabs along the bottom of the frame and I'm curious as to what they are for. [ATTACH=CONFIG]210188

Just a guess, but they look like the points that were used to fasten the body to the chassis.

Body attachment. The rocker panels do not wrap fully under the chassis like on the Mk4. This photo of my beta car was before I did some aluminum trimming which allowed the body drop further (those aluminum pieces have been revised on the production cars).

For those of us who were around for the Mk1, 2 and 3 it's the return of the "Frankenstein bolts" :)

Kind of figured they were for body mounting. Does the body have a correlating mounting position or pad? Or is it drill the hole where ever the body lands on those flanges.
