What is the consensus for the install of the small trailer style module for the turn signal/brake lights? In the panel or downline somewhere else? Thank you.

I found it easiest to do behind the dash.

I thought if I ever needed to change it out it would be easier to get to behind the dash. That's only if your dash is still easy to remove when the body is in place. I mounted it on the false wall of my firewall setup. I got the pushed out firewall and used the FFR original as a false wall with about 1/4" gap. That allowed none of my mounting hardware to show through on the engine bay side. I have a lot going on there and it would be pretty messy on the engine bay side otherwise.

I installed mine over the fuel tank. It will be secured to the underside of the cover over the fuel gauge sender.
