New guy from Houston TX

Hey y’all! I’ve been lurking on this forum for a while, and finally decided to sign up. I am interested in building a roadster (MKIV or maybe the new MKV!), but am still very much in the reading and learning stage . I have experience doing most aspects of a build, with the exception of wiring. That part is a little daunting! I’ve been working in custom/restoration shops doing autobody and paint for years, so at least that part doesn’t intimidate me! I am looking forward to meeting some locals and seeing how your builds are progressing and what kind of issues you are running into. -Steve

I started my build last October with my grandson's and it's be very fun I also struggle with wiring but it's not been that much of a challenge. A little hiccup yesterday with a converter. Just take your time enjoy each and every aspect of your build. I find if I just spend 3 or 4 hours and walk away for awhile it seems to just fall in place.
