This is a Mark IV Roadster full kit. I have very little wiring knowledge. We wired our dash with the RF harness. We connected the battery today for the first time. Many things work properly. The heater fan works, the courtesy lights were operational, the brake lights work, the running lights work. I do not have the front headlights, I have the front running lights hooked up and I have the rear lights hooked up as well as the license plate light hooked up. We have the turn signal indicator lights hooked up to the speedhut speedometer gauge in the dash. As soon as the battery is connected with the ignition in the off position the right rear blinker annd left front blinker. The turn signal switch is in the off position. I removed all the wires from the turn signal and nothing changes. When I turn the hazard switch on both tail lights flash as well as the front left but the front right does not flash at all. If I put the turn signal switch to the right the front right turn signal light flashes. Any help would be much appreciated. I hope that makes sense I am sure it is confusing and it is definitely confusing to me. I do have the rectangle led lights in the back and I do have the adapter wired up at the dash.

I think we figured it out. Looks like the wires on the RF connectors were put on incorrectly. They do not match up. I will post pictures in the morning.

Yup that’s seems to be a not to uncommon issue that’s been discussed many times in the past. I guess their quality control is a little lacking at times.

Well it certainly was the RonFrancis harness that was the problem. There is a 10 pin connector that goes from the main harness to the dash and 4 of the 5 wires on the bottom row were backwards. Fortunately I was able to unpin-pin them and switch them to how they should be. I plugged it back in put power to the harness and sure enough everything works how it should. As if it’s not enough to have to overcome my own deficiencies. Upwards and onwards, engine shows up tomorrow and everything is ready for it to be installed.
