Received my kit and just finished inventory. Can't wait to start building. When I placed the order I opted for carbon fiber front fenders and was supposed to get full 35 pickup rear fenders but instead they sent carbon fiber rear fenders from the hotrod. Curious if anyone has used them on a pickup and hope to see some pictures. I like the look but installation would be challenging as they would need to be cut to match the flat side of the bed.

If I had to do it again, I would not have used the carbon on the rear. The way I cut them they slope downward to maintain tire coverage. I would have had used steel fenders to maintain the look. Anyway, I cut it and fiberglased in a flange on the inside to mount on the bed side. I cut out the trim on the bed sides to make it flat where the fenders monted. Turned out ok. If you are just now starting, get the doors fitted befory you remove the cab. The doors are a bixxh to get flush.
