The gen 1 coyote with tkx is a beast! It's quiet at low speeds and idle but roars when I get on the pedal. Loving every second!

I put the chrome and black factory five emblems on. I debated no emblems or cobra emblems then decided the factory five ones look really slick.

Every one will know it's a cobra but I'm proud to have built a factory five roadster and proud of this community for all the input that makes these a joy to build.

Happy driving!

The first trip to the gas station is fun! And all of the rest.

We made our first trip a couple of months ago. Pulled into the local Quick Trip, my wife was in the passenger seat with the laptop as we were doing some data logging. There was a lot of surprised people seeing a woman in a Cobra holding a laptop with all kinds of squiggly lines on it. One asked if it was a new Tesla lol

On my first visit to fill up I went in to pay and the two young clerks behind the counter were smirking at each other a little bit. I was about to ask them what was so funny when one summed up the courage and said, would you like a drive-thru car wash with your purchase?

On my first trip to the gas station I pulled up to the wrong side of the pump. :)
I repositioned just as a newer Porsche 911 pulled up at the pump next to me. He asked if I wanted to trade.

Trips to the gas station are usually 20 minutes long, as you almost never get out of there without giving a tour for people want to look at the car. Makes you feel kinda good. I was surprised by the amount of people who know what the car is, and the amount who don't know what the car is but, are intrigued by the way they look. I thought everybody knew what a Cobra was. They must be living under a rock.
