Hi All,

I am looking forward to being apart of this community.
I have been a Millwright/Machine Builder for over 25 years and building and repairing is just about second nature to me.

I do not have a FF build yet and I'm looking to attend the Mott's FF build school in the future.

In the meantime I would love to be able to jump in on a build to help anyone out if possible.

Also does anyone know if there are any local car clubs in the Tampa, Clearwater, St Pete area that I could check out?

I'm in Punta Gorda and there are lots of FF as well as others from Tampa to Orlando to the East Coast and down into Cape Coral, Naples and Miami!
Henry (65 CobraDude) is a professional builder here in Port Charlotte. He generally has multiple cars in various stages of build. He's currently building my 289 (with a little help from me).

As for clubs, there's The Deep South Cobra Club. www.dscc.us
Also on FB. They are a good group of folks.

While I don’t currently have a Cobra, I did build one in 2008-2010.

We have a 818 and located just north of Clearwater in Palm Harbor. It is from the Factory Five family and would give you a sense of how they are constructed if you are interested.
