Images won't load

Is anyone else having difficulty in uploading images? I've done this countless times and for some reason when I go into "manage attachement" it won't let me add a Jpeg-- which is the format I've always used.
Thoughts?

Yes, I have been having the same issue. I posted a few weeks ago about this, and someone commented they were having similar issues. I could not figure out how to make it work, using different methods and browsers and gave up.

Yes me too and PMs to the administrator have not been answered.
I use my PC exclusively for the Forum. I insert from the task bar above.

I have been having all sorts of issues with the forum generally. For the picture issue this has been my work around:

I upload photos through my phone. I find this to be the easiest. However the link for the photo albums does not show on my phone anymore. So I switch to "mobile mode" then select albums, then switch back to full site. I then can upload photos for the most part. By most part I mean I can upload up to 3 at a time and never the same photo twice. Sometimes if they are upside down I will re orient then try to re upload and they wont. I have to take a screen shot of the original then that becomes a new photo then that loads.

I routinely now when I load the forum find that it is in a basic text mode. I often have to change from mobile and back to clear the issue. I also have trouble replying to posts. I now have to select the quote button then hit reply and do it twice. Not always but often. This is across multiple laptops and my phone so it's not a device issue.

I think the Forum has some bugs and probably needs some IT TLC.

You guys are running thumbnails. I (and I assume) Ron is talking about the uploaded images. The full size ones that you paste the BB Code

When I post I click the thumbnail, copy the image address and post that as a full size pic. Just didn’t do it with the bunny photo but will now. Let’s see if it works:

Yeah like I said it’s intermittent for me. I can obviously get it done. There are definitely some gremlins, but nothing terminal. :)

I have always had an issue uploading from my IPhone (Pro-Max 13 and 16) using the little image icon. Imagines sometimes don’t load, sometimes take a very long time and to everyone’s annoyance frequently (randomly) upload upside down or sideways. And for those of you wondering yes, I’ve tested which way I am holding the phone when take photos and file sizes are consistent.

My IT team feels it’s a backend coding issue on the forum…….but they’re just guessing.

I don’t seem to have the issue from my desktop. I know Apple devices can sometimes be finicky interacting with other systems so perhaps that’s just the issue.

I was under the impression you had to upload photos to the gallery if you wanted them to be full sized in a thread posting. But if I understand Jeff's post above there is a work around to that? I know the forum wants the BB code but I didn't think you could circumvent the gallery upload step?

All of my pictures are on my computer in Apple Photo, any I want to load here I just have on my desktop. I open the Insert Image icon, then drag and drop them there. Have never used the gallery setup, seems pointless.

But you're only loading thumbnails correct? Not full size photos?
