Hi All -

I am sure that this has been discussed, but I cannot find a straight answer.

Using the Quick Jack lift, where is the best place to lift the car? On the 4 " pipes on the frame or the 2 " Box Channel further out?

TIA,

Mark

What ever works best for you.

Either or works. But really comes down to what type of work you are doing on the car? If you are doing suspension work I would keep them inboard to the 4" tubes. If doing something with the trans or engine put it outboard to the 2" tubes. When It is on the 4" tubes not a lot of room inbetween the quickjacks. Now you haven't asked the other question should you use them going the direction of the vehicle or use them going perpendicular to the vehicle. Once again either or works but gives you some more options for room on what ever you are working on. Hence why I love my quickjacks so much.

I roll my front end up on 2 cut 2 X 10's which lets me get my speed jack under the tubular frame. Or, you can use the cross member. Don't forget to put jack stands under it! If you use a shop, it must be a spider rack under the tubular frame. Make sure you watch them.
