I've got a 1/2" NPT and 3/8" NPT fitting in the intake. I have a sensor and switch that I want to install, one sensor for the gauge and the other for the green thermo switch. Does it matter which port I use on the intake? I know one side is cooler, but how much cooler after it runs through the radiator? I want the gauge to be accurate and fan to come on when it's supposed to. Is the better option to use the top bung in the radiator for the thermo switch and use the hot side of the intake for the gauge sensor?

I have two temp sensors...one for my gauge, and one for the ProFlo. The ProFlo sensor came preinstalled toward the driver's side of the manifold, and I installed the gauge sensor more to the passenger side of the manifold. They're both in the same coolant cavity within the manifold, so I can't imagine there'd be much temp difference. Don't know if that helps you at all.

Thanks Greg. Is the Proflo your fan switch?

Thanks Greg. Is the Proflo your fan switch?
Yep.

Yep.
Cool. I’ll use that side then for my thermo fan wire and switch.
