Am I missing something here!

[997 Turbo]

Mounting the radiator, the drivers side nose panel fits, rad angle looks good 50 degrees, depth of panel is 7.620”. However, the passage side nose panel does not fit as like the drivers side. The depth of the passage side panel is 6.187”. Which panel is correct? Sense the rad angle is at 50 degrees; can I assume the drivers side is the correct panel??

Mine was similar to that situation, and it motivated me to ditch the FFR-supplied aluminum for the nose, and upgrade to Mike Everson's solution. I think it looks much cleaner.
