What tires are available and size for 15in wheels

I know there are posts about this but can’t find them.. I currently have 15in wheels with the cooper cobras, would like to change tires to a better tire. What is the max width with the 3 link and which brands do you guys recommend. Don’t want to buy different size wheels, I like the look of the 15’s. Thanks for your thoughts.

If your rims are 8" front and 9" rear the sizes are 235/60-15 and 295/50-15. You have exactly 2 choices; BFG Radial T/A or Cooper Cobra.

Mickey Thompson's are available too.

If I'm not mistaken Goodyear acquired Cooper a few years ago and Mickey T was a subsidiary of Cooper.

Hopefully we'll have another option for 15" performance tires:

Nova Motorsport has announced that they have acquired the assets of Avon Motorsport and are relocating to a state-of-the-art European factory. They intend to continue the production of Avon's historic range, including the CR6ZZ, ensuring the maintenance of Avon's heritage, performance, and quality. This suggests that Nova tires are designed to match or replicate the performance attributes of the Avon CR6ZZ.
Production Timeline: Nova Motorsport plans to start full-scale production of the Avon CR6ZZ in the fourth quarter of 2024. This indicates that by late 2024 or early 2025, Nova tires could be available as replacements for the Avon CR6ZZ

Yes, I heard another company was going to continue Avon, but did know the company.. Thanks Dave for the info.
I bought a set of rears when I heard they stopped production. Have a pair in a cool dark storage area, for when I need them.

Also available in the US, from Performance Plus, but have to be patient as they are being restocked. Good tires and have better speed and temp ratings than Cooper.
