About 18 or so years ago, a divorce forced me to sell my 33 Hot Rod before I had the chance to complete it.
It was one of the first Hot Rods FFR produced and was the funnest vehicle I had the pleasure to own and build.
About eight years ago I was at a car show looking at FFR Cobras and Hot Rods with the plan to build another Factory Five.
I spotted a really nice white, 73 numbers matching big block Corvette with a for sale sign in the window.
The car was in beautiful condition and was reasonably priced.
I made the owner an offer that I didn’t expect him to agree to and when he did, I found myself crawling all over it to see exactly what condition it was in.
The owner tossed my new bride the keys and told her to start it up and turn on the ac, which she did.
She was instantly sold and this started my Corvette journey.
As I’m nearing the finish of the total body off restomod build of my 73 Corvette I keep thinking about selling it and obtaining a Type 65 Coupe.
I plan to start lurking around the Factory Five Forum again to help me decide how I want to build the 65 Coupe.
I can’t remember what my old log in was and I had a long build thread going at the time.
I’ll try to find some pictures to post, but I had powder coated the chassis yellow.
