I'm finishing up the details on my engine (408w) and am plumbing my power steering. I'll be using the FFR supplied lines from my power steering pump (Jones Racing) to the power steering rack. I'll need to cut those to the proper length and I do have new fittings to put on those (#6). My question is the feed line from the bottom of the tank that feeds the power steering pump. I'm pretty sure that does not have to be a high pressure hose, since it is just gravity feeding the pump, correct? My plan is to use some existing fittings I have that are barbed and you put a crimp clamp on it. Anyone want to confirm that I'm on the right track? Thanks.

Correct. That line is gravity only. In some installations, it's also a larger size than the pressure lines.

Correct. Just be sure the hose you use is specced for oil and also for maybe 250F

Just FYI that is not a feed, it’s the low pressure return.

Ok, good to know. I thought that was the case, but wanted to double check before I started it up. Thanks guys.
