Hi Guys,

I asked this in a previous post and I'll try again here.
The manual does not explain these metal pieces in the photo below, although later in the clutch switch installation, they appear in the illustration (below.)

Do I need to disassemble and start over, or can I just mount the switch as shown below on the existing plate?

Is there something I am missing? Is there a reason for the metal plates that's not explained anywhere?

Those two parts are used on the roadster (I used them on my 289), I just looked at my Coupe-R and I did not use those parts to mount the brake pedal assembly. Not sure if I received them with the Coupe kit, I'll look in my unused parts box, but don't recall them coming with the Coupe.

On the Coupe-R. the mounting plate with the long legs will not mount to anything, may be different for the non-R Coupe because lots of different tubes in different locations.

My regular coupe does not use those either. Looks the same as the R.

Thanks! So I'm probably okay to mount the clutch switch on top there where I had it roughly mounted.

Thx
Chris

Right! So, I'll just go ahead and mount the switch there.

Thank you!

Where did the switch you have come from?

The clutch switch in question here is unique to a Coyote installation. It's a Ford Performance switch included with the Coyote control pack and attached to the Coyote control pack harness. Non-coyote builds use the switch mounted underneath and attach to the Ron Francis harness (assuming that's what's in the build).
