I've got the doors close enough so now I won't need a cubic yard of Bondo for the transitions to be smooth, but this here is still kaddywampus:

The passenger side of the dash lip sits almost an inch more proud of the dash than the drivers side. I assure you, the body is absolutely as far forward as it can get. I'm tempted to cut a long and narrow pie slice out of the body about an inch forward of the dash lip, then glass/vinyl resin it back to get the curved lip more inline with the door.

Any tips on this, or just use more bondo?

I used Fibertech to make the upper door transition and went over it with Rage Gold.
Both are products by Evercoat and so they are compatible.

Don't worry because you'll be fine and your car will be too.
As Jeff Kleiner told me several time, "It is only bodywork Steve so don't worry!"

Thanks for confirming. Looks like I'll need to go buy a tub of body filler. I like the fiberglass impregnated stuff, that makes sense to me.

I also did that door split like you did on the bottoms of the doors. That made alignment much closer.

I added filler (NAPA Short strand fiberglass) using aluminum tape to build a scafold on the door after first sanding off the gel coat. Fine tuned with Rage Gold. Seems way easier than cutting the body. turned out great. I was also able to work in a "step" to match the body opening.

Like I told Go Dad...its all body work. The curvature of the front "point" of the doors doesn't match the cowl. Also the radius of the doors where they roll down and go vertical does not match the radius of the body. Never has---but that's all about to change;)
