My name is Dan, and my MKIV will be shipping around 12/21/24. I am eager to get started. I built a MKII about 20 years ago, and am looking forward to this build. If there is anyone local to southern NM it would be great to meet you.

Hey Dan, I'm up in Abq building a coupe. Seems FFR builders are rare in NM!

Hi Dan I’m in El Paso and established the El Paso chapter of the Texas Cobra Club . We have members in LC. Steve Watson and 2 others have FFR cobras. I believe the airport in LC hosts a monthly breakfast. They attend as most are pilots. Classic cars also attend.
Every 2 Saturday of the month there is a classic car cruse in on the west side of El Paso. It’s held at the O’Reillys auto store on the corner of Balboa and North Mesa from nine to noon there you can find some of El Paso cobras and Las Cruces cobras attend.

It brings back memories reading this conversation As I was stationed at Ft Bliss 54 years ago. I was in a Hawk missle group . We used to go to the Elephant Butte reservoir to go swimming . Is the dog racing track still in Jaurez Mexico ? We used launch the missles at Mcgregor range and White Sands , Also I never saw a town with so many drive in theaters , I have a MKII here in New Jersey Take care , Ed
