Fuel Tank vs. Fuel Pumps

Is anybody using a non-EFI external electric fuel pump with the FFR supplied fuel tank for the 33 coupe ?? I would very much like to know how you plummed it. Thanks

Hey Chuck, yes, I'm running an airtex electronic fuel pump and I placed it just under the passenger side door aft of the firewall so I could get to it. And ironically enough, I was just working on it. I thought maybe I was having fuel pump issues but I think I was just running too lean and it was stalling on me. But having it there is so much easier to get to. I would never run a pump in the tank cause you can't get it out without taking the body off! I just ran it inline mounted to the frame and that's it!

I'm running a Holley Blue pump with a regulator that is mounted directly under the tank right over the intended battery mount. I see you saw my other thread about my pressure dropping from +/- 6.5 to +/- 2 over a 10 minute period at around 1500 rpm. I also suspected the potential of trash in the tank. If that is the case I would think when you shut it down and let is sit the trash would fall away from the pick-up and your pressure should restore.
