I updated the first post with the items upgraded for this build. As you know, there is also a ton of hardware upgrades most people do including myself.

Ive always wanted to build a FFR Roadster but I’m not so excited about owning one. That’s why I’m selling it. I’m already looking for my next project. It will not be a MK5.

Thanks for the interest,
Jim

Some folks wanted to see some up to date photos. I just took these today (11 Dec 2024) The car is tucked away in my garage awaiting paint.

Here's some photos from today showing the car and all the related items that are included. I found all the sales documentation and manuals for all the additional parts and pieces I purchased outside of FFR.

The car is still available. It's at the paint shop as I write this. The prep work is almost finished. There's still time to pick your color if interested?

I chose Shark Gray Metallic with black strips. It's a GM Corvette color.

It is still available. The body work is 95% finished and then it's ready for paint. I believe it will be painted by the end of the month.

Hello Jim,
I’m in the market for my first FFR cobra. I’ve looked at a few already in my area of the country. Nothing really captivates my attention. I thought I would branch out. If at all possible , could you please send specifications and any photos to my private e-mail
I look forward to your reply.

Dear Jim,

I really appreciate your reply and the information you kindly shared. Thank you for taking the time to provide those details.

I do, however, have some important questions regarding the documentation and registration of the vehicle.

In my country (Georgia), there are restrictions on importing cars: the latest acceptable requirement is that the production year must be 2013 or newer. Therefore, I kindly ask for clarification:
1. Does the car already have proper documents and registration?
2. If registered, what year of production will appear on the VIN code and official papers?
3. Does the vehicle already have a VIN number and all necessary registration details?
4. Could you also confirm the engine volume (displacement), as this information is required for customs clearance in Georgia?
5. Is the engine volume officially listed in the registration documents or title, so that customs authorities can verify it directly?

I also understand that Greg has expressed some concern to you regarding my interest. Please allow me to calm any worries: I am not a reseller or dealer. I am a genuine car enthusiast, and I am searching for this car purely for my own collection and personal joy.

Thank you again for your kind assistance and clarification.

Best regards,
David

I'm picking my car up from the paint shop this week so I don't know how much of a project it will be now that it's painted. It's still for sale but the price will increase now that it's painted. I'll post additional photos of the car once the final assembly is completed. I'll send you my number via PM and you can forward it to Rick if he's still interested.

Thanks,
Jim

Here's what it looks like after paint. I'm about 95% done. There's a few minor things to do around the hood opening and the lower door trim. I also need to adjust the ride height. I raised the car before taking it to the paint shop just to make sure they did drag the chassis. Anyway, It'll be fully complete with registration by early Spring.

Here's some of the finishing touched I've done to the hood. The latches are now sc=secured with machine screws instead of sheet metal screws. Also, the brass bushing adds rigidity to the latch.

I also machined new brackets for the exhaust hangers to position the side pipe correctly and function better.
