Slick sand/feather fill on inside doors, under hood/trunk

Does anyone put slick sand on the inside of the doors or under the trunk/hood? The gelcoat is pretty smooth after some sanding and the doors will have door cards covering most of it. Didnt know if it was worth the time/material or just go to primer/sealer on those parts.

I do the inside of the doors hood and trunk exactly the same as the rest of the body; Polyester (Slick Sand), Urethane primer surfacer, base and clear.

thanks for the feedback. Hopefully the temperature holds out tomorrow to shoot a few coats. If all goes well I am set to paint monday or tues!
