Update - Friday, February 10th - After speaking with several customers and the crew here, it looks like southeastern New England is going to be a yucky, snowy place tomorrow morning. So, we are postponing Moochfest until next weekend, February 18th. Same time, same station, next week. Hope to see you all here in a week.
If you know someone who was planning on attending, please help us out and let them know.

Dave here and the dust is still settling after my buyout of my brother here at Factory Five, but I wanted to take a minute this morning to update you guys on our plans for Moochfest this year.

Factory Five stalwarts John George and Rob Baker (driving) hardcore.
The event will be held on Saturday morning, February 11th from 9 am to noon. We will have cars on display, plant tours, and I will speak briefly about new products and the road ahead for 2012. This will be a lot of fun since I have purchased the company from my brother and this buyout allows me a tremendous amount of freedom going forward.

I am excited to show off some of the changes we've made to the plant and some of our new tooling/equipment this year.
As you guys know, this is a laid back event and a good chance to catch up with everyone and to set our plans for the year ahead. It's been a terrible ski season in New England and a real mild winter, so we're all hoping for an early spring and a great start to the car season (now that I jinxed everybody, it will probably snow for the next 8 weeks).
The guys will put together some nice awards for people who bring their cars and we will be celebrating the one year anniversary of the Factory Five Forum. Factory Five customer Joe Leone will be on hand with his Mk4 Roadster having just completed the MA inspection procedure and he can discuss some upcoming changes with Massachusetts registration laws.
