I am chasing some electrical gremlins and I think the ignition switch is the root cause.

I did not install it, how is it removed? does the front trim ring unscrew?

Is a suitable replacement available somewhere other than Factory Five?

To remove the ignition switch I believe you loosen the backing nut first and then remove the bezel.

If yours does not have a backing nut then it's just the bezel that unscrews.

Gremlin fixed. It was a loose connection(s) at the bus bar.

I was wiggling the wires behind the Ignition switch leading me to think the switch was wonky.

It turned out the wire to the switch was very loose on the bus bar this car uses for all the 12+ main connections.
