"Line the dash up with the hoop on the chassis. The corners of the dash support tube are 3/16” below the
top edge of the dash. The tube will be lower as it goes to the middle."
What are they trying to tell me? Should the top of dash line up with the chassis hoop in the center?
From what I have experienced, and from what others did, don't install the dash higher than the square tube at the corners otherwise the body will be leaning against the dash causing some issues while trying to adjust your doors and plus, you don't want the body to be supported by the dash evidently.

That's backwards. The top edge dash should be approximately 3/16" BELOW THE TUBES:

The top curve may or may not match the the hoop---they aren't all bent/curved the same.

For sure! Jeff posted this same picture for me when I asked the same question. The assembly manual is confusing here.
