View Full Version : Need help identifying fuel line fittings

We are trying to get my ca]r back on the road after 3 yrs dormant. Dropped the tank, changed oil plugs and wires. Went to fire it up and fuel lines starting leaking. We believe one end is -6AN, but can't figure out the other end.

I don't think either of those are AN6 fittings. What that looks like to be is partial PTFE. When you make your fuel lines you screw 2 halves of a fitting together compressing the hose in between. That looks to me like those fitting got separated in the middle. They are different thread sizes though. I don't have a guess as to why.

I agree with the above, neither of those is a 37 degree AN fitting. I think both screwed off of other fittings, possibly barbed or maybe the slip on Ford style fuel fitting? What did they attach to, that might help figure it out?
