Does anyone have any tips on getting the Breeze lower radiator mount to work on our 289 cars? Looks like the radiator angle needs to be around 41 degrees from what I've read. There may be interference with the Breeze lower mount and how the 289 body mounts.

Okay, I've seen some of this before, but can someone remind me why I might want a Breeze Radiator mount?
I'm trying to be reasonable regarding replacing FFR parts that came with my FFR Mk4 289 "complete kit". Ugh.
I certainly have some insight and experience that allows me to improve/modify/adjust/re-fashion some of the provided parts, but again -- ugh -- what's vital to change? (I'm informed by: Don't let the "perfect" be the enemy of the" good").

The complete kit is good enough. I really like some of the products Breeze offers and I have used them on previous builds. For my 289 build I am using his upper and lower radiator mounts, fan shroud, gas pedal, front mounted battery box, dead pedal, and power steering hoses. I think the radiator products he has are more than worth the upgrade. The other stuff I bought is really nice to have, but not required.

Thanks for some ideas -- I'll get (probably) front-mounted battery box, dead pedal, at least. (Will order FFMetal forward firewall tomorrow -- more room for heater)
I'll research upper/lower radiator mounts from Breeze, but in a word or two: the advantages...? ...and fan shroud? (I'm running a BPE 347/carb/TKX/mid-shift) Oh, my first build.
