Ron Francis Fan Thermo Switch Question

I've been dressing my BluePrint 302 for eventual installation in my chassis, and I'd like confirmation on my planned installation of the thermostatic switch for fan control in my Ron Francis wiring harness.

I'm planning on installing the thermo switch in the port shown in the attached photo. I'm going to use the other coolant port on the passenger side of the intake manifold for the dash-mounted temperature gauge sensor.

Since this appears to be a grounded switch, I assume that I shouldn't use any thread sealant on the thermo switch threads. It that correct?

You can use a thin application of thread sealant, but don't use tape.
