35 hot rod starter wiring

Building a 35 Truck. The wiring harness has 3 large red wires, and one small blue wire. Do all three red wires, plus the battery wire, go on the same post? I have a blueprint 383 engine, 700R trans.

Yes. The blue wire goes to the starter solenoid.

I found it pretty cramped to put all that on the starter so I added a firewall connector post for them all to come together and then ran a new short heavy gauge wire from there to the starter.

Solenoid. The forward item from the starter? My starter has a smaller connection, figured blue wire goes there. FYI - amazing how quick you responded. It is a SBC, FF has pics with nothing to forward piece. Thanks very much. Bill
