Update to the Forums

Can we please get the search function specific to a forum. When we search for something in the Roadster section we should not have to weed through 10 threads from all the other cars.

We also need to be able to search for a phrase; for example, if we search for "valve cover gasket" you'll get 10 threads on valves, 9 on covers, and 12 on gaskets. Not very user friendly.

The technology for this ask is pretty basic and it would go a long way in making this forum more usable.

If you go to "advanced search" you can click "search single content type" and then go to the drop down boxes that are available and select which subforum(s) you wish to search in. You can then refine the results even further with a date range, number of replies, etc. If you just put a term in the search box in the upper right corner then yes, your results will be all over the map.

Personally I use google does a much better job. I just type in Factory Five then whatever I am looking for. Does a great drop down list and much easier to navigate. Plus creates a drop down list for the other forum as well incase the information is better there.
