Certified weight certificate

One of the things needed to title an assembled car is a certified weight.
I've read some members going to scrap metal places to get their car weighed - has anyone gone to a truck stop and used a CAT scale? There seem to be more of those closer to me and I'm guessing it's very easy to drive a car on to their scales. (the only scrap metal place near me has a scale that a Daytona probably can't drive up)
Any other ideas?
I'm in the NE corner of the Austin metroplex if anyone has done it around there.

Go to a truck stop. Scrap yards are full of bits on the ground to puncture your tires. Also full of D***heads and meth-heads, ready to ruin your day.

I love scrap joints for recycling, just not a place to take your pride and joy.

+1 for skipping the scrap yard, too rough in all the ways for the daytona.

My first choice would be a truck stop. Weighing vehicles and providing the certified results is their bread and butter. I imagine it would be quite painless.

I'm out in the country so my backup plan would be to find a friendly operator at the local grain elevator and see if they'd help out.

10-4. There are three truck stops with CATS scales within 20 miles of me so that will work great.
