The question was asked on another thread "Has anyone successfully used the side exit pipes? I read in a different post that it caused ground clearance issues."

This is how I built my side exit exhaust.

I wanted H-Pipes

This meant the E-brake bracket had to be relocated. I moved it as far back as I could and fabricated a link from Stainless steel all-thread and ss tube.

I bought "Same Side" mufflers, the entrance and exit are on the same side...or end. These were mounted under the truck be just behind the cab.

This left room for the exhaust to be turned back forward by the muffler, then 90 degree turn outward to the tip and the oval cut in the cab just behind the door.

There is about 2.5 inches of space between the bottom cab sheet metal and the bottom 1 inch tube of the chassis.
205851 you can just see the oval cut in the cab side here. The fuel line and the brake line on the drivers side where wrapped in heat shielding as you can see here. I also have a flat sheet of 1/8 inch aluminum ready cover the fuel line from road debris.

The mufflers had a straight through flange for cutouts, which were added behind and down0turn tips added. These will only be opened when "Off-Road" and terminate just in front of the rear end.
