That aluminum flange that's part of the sheet metal in the trunk, the one that the quick jack mounts straddle, does anything obstruct the underside of that section on a finished Cobra?

I've got some plans for that location and I don't want to put a bunch of electrical stuff there only to find out during body install that there's some fiberglass body flange that hugs the underside of it.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the pic

From the looks of things, the body does curve forward, but it looks like it's about 5" below the flange I'm talking about. There also doesn't look like there's much space between the fiberglass body and the back of the fuel tank. I was hoping for permanent access to this location but from your picture it appears to be confined once I get the body on.

I'm planning on an LED backup light, and I was going to hug all the taillight wiring up there as well. Possibly even a 3rd brake light for maximum awareness, but I'd almost rather mount that a bit higher like around the license plate.

By the way, your Cobra exhaust was the inspiration for mine.

I added a couple to LED backups (you can see one on the side) and the wiring is attached to the bottom of the flange you are referring to. I can get you a better photo in a little while if it would help.

Thanks, I would appreciate it, but no hurry though. I'm gonna work on fabbing up the actuator bracket for the E-brake today and I might fiddle with the wiring if there's time.

Perfect!!! Thanks very much for your help. Looks like I've got plenty of room to access that area.
