View Full Version : Trick Flow Upper intake??

Would this style upper intake be legal in the series..I would be buying it used and want to make sure its good.. The seller does not have or know the part number..Its for a ford 302..

That does not look like the R-series intake. Then it would not be legal.

Your best bet would be to contact Eddi at TFS, he could say for sure but I'm pretty certain it is not the right intake.

The NASA new rules state that upper and lower intake is part # TFS-51500003..The picture on the Trick flow website looks the same as the picture..Here is the link..I would have to call TF and see if there is a part # cast into the intake..Thanks

The intake in your picture is the street intake, it is not the one that is legal for the series. The link you show is the correct intake, they just look pretty similiar. You can see the difference in the length of the upper plenum if you look where the TRICKFLOW script is, on the used one it is inside of the fins, on the "R series" it runs out between them.

Still a good intake but it would be more lower rpm range power vs the R series.
