Anybody running these?
I’m converting my rear to disc and rebuilding the brake system in the process. (Nico lines, new MC and FFR rear conversion.)
In the process front calipers were going to get a refresh but locally I can only get OE Reman’d calipers

I came across LMR’s SVO style front “upgrade” which is apparently a direct swap and changes the 60mm piston to 73mm

Any value-added feedback is appreciated

This “upgrade” will increase front brake bias which is what most of us are trying to reduce when using Mustang brakes on the roadster. If you really want new calipers and can’t get them locally, look here https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,1993,mustang,5.0l+v8,1134076,brake+&+wheel+hub,caliper,1704

A larger piston will result in greater clamping force for the amount of pressure applied, however more fluid needs to be moved to make that pressure meaning more pedal travel.

Thanks Norm
These are what I was after. (Zinc coated OEM, new)
All we can get locally are reman’d, powder coated army green.
Appreciate it!

As Norm says those are exactly the wrong way to go for an FFR. I'd get remans of what you already have and investigate caliper paint. Paint may not have the ultimate longevity of powder coating but it can be done at room temp so no need to disassemble and reassemble the caliper.

Thx guys
Ordered the rock auto ones. Leadtime to me is like 3 days which is unheard of out here in BC so far in my experience.

Received the Rock Auto ones today
Dynamic Friction (new) and zinc coated exactly matching the calipers that came with my FFR rear disc conversion kit. Exactly what I was after.
Not sure where their warehouse is relative to the Pacific Northwest but I have not received parts that quick before. 4 business days
Will absolutely be using RA again.
Thanks again Norm for the suggestion!
