Has anyone used the Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 on your roadster? I’m wondering if it will fit under the scoop with the hood closed. Looks like it’s kinda high profile. It will be sitting atop a small block for engine.
I’m not referring to the XT model I know for sure that won’t fit.

I'll be following this, as I'm building a 427 small block with this system. I think K&N makes a low profile and lowered air filter, which I plan to use. I think that should get it done.

tom,
You should be a bit more discriminating in describing your engine.
SBF or SBC?

The 289/302 SBF has a deck weight of 8.2 inch.
The 351 SBF types (Cleveland & Windsor) have a 9.2 to 9.5 inch deck height.

The earlier 327-350 SBC has 9.03 inch deck height.
The later LS SBC has 9.2 inch deck height.

I have one, Dart block 427W. Can't fit a huge filter, but using a filter top setup like this works OK.

My bad. I meant to say small block ford. 8.2 deck height. Good catch JR.

Mike Forte has several engines dynoed on his YouTube channel with ProFlo 4 systems on them.
everything from a 427 to a 302 so I'd say you're good no matter what.

I have one. I have the taller manifold version, with turkey pan and S&B filter, no issues with fit, plenty of space. On a 302 with TF heads. See my build thread/videos as I detail it all there.
