Waiting is the hardest part, right? Yesterday, thanks to my son and his Playstation, I made my dream of Roadster ownership a (virtual) reality. I still need to get my garage, finances, and wife in a place where buying and building a kit makes sense - but now I can drive and design my dream in Gran Turismo! At least its way less expensive and painless to spin it out and bin it!

Not gonna lie, I think my_cobra_build on Instagram has one of the best looking rides, so his was the first design I created in the game. This could be a really interesting tool to test out and hone in on my eventual paint choices, too!

Way ahead of you on this. This was actually how I picked my color. The only thing I ended up not doing was the stripes. But Gran Turismo 7 was great for figuring it out

Just beautiful. In fact I think it is even more desirable sans stripes.

I agree. Which is why I decided to leave them off.

After trying with powerpoint this looks VERY good. I watched a few Youtubes with cobras. As an older guy I have little experience with playstation but my kids say you probably have to play the game a bunch to get credit for doing car mods. They have the station but not the game which I can buy if it makes sense. Can anyone give an estimate on how many hours of play time to make changing colors, stripes, wheels available? Stretch goal would be with and without hood scoop and / or hood louvers. I have my Mk4 at about the 80% complete stage. Thanks

The biggest issue is the car itself. In game, it’s a “Legend” car meaning that it’s only available to purchase from the dealership a few times a year…that and the purchase price is $2.5M.
