I’m in the process of installing the Wilwood pedal box in my Mk4. I’ve installed the brake m/c’s and set the brake pedal so it’s not touching the 3/4 tube. Pedal movement is good and springs back well, although I’ve not bled the m/c’s yet. To my surprise, the pedal moves side to side. Not much but not what I was expecting. The pivot bolts are tight. Is this normal? Am I missing something?

A little bit of movement isn't necessarily a problem. My guess is it's probably OK. But can you be more specific about the actual amount of movement?

Here’s a video. Since the clutch pedal is not connected to anything, I expect it will firm up when connected to the m/c. My concern is mainly the brake pedal.

Apparently I uploaded the video as a YouTube short, so don’t get stuck in eternity scrolling…

Looks just like the pedal in my Coupe. Been on the road for four years without any issue. IMO you're OK.

Thanks Paul! Much appreciated! First time building one of these so I appreciate experienced eyes providing a sanity check.

Having used this pedal system numerous times -- you're ok.
