First trial with the QT bellhousing on with clutch fork. In terms of positioning, this seems to be a little different than the stock bellhousing, as the last time, my fork placement on the fixed stud was in the middle of the hole, and from what I've read with the QT, we want the fork to be towards the rear with maybe 3/8" gap between it and the back plate?

How does this look? This is with the longer fixed stud that Forte sent me with lock washer. I have about 1/2" clearance behind the fork to the lip of the bellhousing when the TOB sits flush with the clutch fingers. I thought it looked spot on, but am I too far back? There's no bolts in the pic, but I did install the bolts just in case there was any differential and it was the same measurement as it was flush.

Here's a picture from the top. It's just slightly off of 90 degrees pointing towards the transmission. Again, this is with the TOB lightly touching the fingers of the PP.

Looks OK to me. But I'm not there to review. Good photos BTW.
Some of this can be adjusted, if necessary, by shimming the pivot ball. There are adjustable pivot balls, OK but not my favorite solution.

Thanks Jim. The QT Bell came with an adjustable. I'm not a fan either so I got a fixed ball from Forte. He sends both a hardened lock washer and a 1/8" hardened flat washer for shimming. I didn't use the flat washer, just the lock washer, so if needed, I could extend the clutch fork forward slightly with the washer and still have 5 threads showing for engagement.
