What happened to Boig Motorsports? Their sponsor banner etc... is still there but the link is dead. Are the cool tubes still available?

Call Tubular Automotive in MA. They were making them for Bob (RIP)!

Tubular Automotive will still make them to order. You have to call. They're coated mild steel now, he says the aluminum got to expensive. Quoted me $450 for an upper/lower set on a Gen3 with a Windsor. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Now I have to decide. Spend more $$ and order them, piece together my own system with silicone and pre-bent tubes, or use the provided corrugated hose and adapters..... Decisions, decisions. Seems like mixed reviews with the FFR supplied corrugated stuff. Piecing my own together is going to be time consuming and potentially a lot of trial and error.

Get the Boig stuff. Another option, get the Boig stuff. Don't cheap out now.

Frank (ie427) had an interesting alternate method using regular radiator hose.

my upper hose was pretty straightfoward w/ some silicone tubing.
I had to get a custom lower hose made by a local company who could do mandrel bending (due to my engine being a pre 1969 SBF with a PS water pump inlet). I made a template from extra brake line and wrapped some hot water insulation foam over it to get the right location.

Looks like they took the Boig site down. That's recent as I just ordered from them about 3 months ago and it was there. I'm not sure about the Tubular Automotive site as there is one but it doesn't have the cool tubes on it. Probably should call.
Mark from Breeze sells the lower aluminum tube for a 351W (part #70783) but you have to go to Boig for the upper if you want the integrated filler neck. You also have to send them a physical check, as they don't take any kind of online payments. They do look great when powdercoated.

Dang it! This is what I get for having to wait! No room to store anything. I really wanted those aluminum Boig tubes.

I decided to order from Tubular Automotive. I mailed a check today, so it'll be awhile before I have them in hand. It should be an upper and lower. My understanding is I'll still need to use the FFR supplied filler neck and source a 90 silicone coupler to go from the fill neck to the thermostat housing. I'll report back with photos when I get them.

Might want to try calling and let them know your check is on the way just to avoid any confusion. Boig has two versions. One with the integrated filler neck and another without.
