96 Explorer 302 ID Number Location.

In another thread I read that the ID number is on the top rear of the engine block behind the intake. Here is a photo. No ID number.

I need the ID number so I can make a Bill of Sale from the seller. Am I looking t5 t5in the right place?

You are definitely looking in the right place. My first build had a pull out from a 93 mustang I rebuilt and that’s where it was. If my memory serves correctly the explorer did not stamp the VIN on the block.
