I'm building a complete kit; however, I'm varying a bit and using a Mustang pedal box (vacuum assist brakes). Anyway, I'm trying to figure what to do with the large circular block-off plate for the driver footbox.

Do I install it as-is, or do I need to drill a hole in it for the Ron Francis harness?

Thanks.

There’s too many ways to build these things to get a decisive yes or no answer to your questions. I would encourage you, however, to not permanently block any openings in or out of your foot box until every wire, tube, cable, and/or hose that will be coming in or out of your box has been installed. I would find an uncut grommet that fits the openings you can access through it for whatever you need to run.

Interestingly though, your openings are different than mine: my kit doesn’t have the large opening that yours does at the top. 204062

That's because you're using the Wilwood pedal setup.

Per Dan at Factory Five, the hole I asked about is for the Mustang harness, so i can block it off.

Interesting. I had no idea they had different jigging/fabs for the different pedal box sets—I don’t recall that being a change option when I ordered. Either way, the advice still stands—I have gone back to the same holes many times at this point and leaving more access available would never be a bad choice. You can always block it off later if you end up not using it.
