Lots of learning and mistakes along the way, the original goal was to have a fun car to drive. Wasn’t building a show car. I acquired a 1970 351C prior winter, a used T5 and yanked a 8.8 from a fox body mustang that a guy was parting out in his front lawn.

I had lots of random help from my wife, son, daughter and father every Sunday.

Lessons learned:
I remember how nervous I was on the first rivets. Now it’s like oh that could use a rivet and just drill away.
I really enjoyed the building part, not the body work or painting.
It took just as long to assemble the car as I spent on the body work.
Did I mention I get now why people pay someone to paint it.

Tasks left:
More test runs
Still need to finish the NYS title paperwork
Obtain certified weight
Final buff (did a quick buff thus far)
